sit and stay fit is ideal for seniors particularly those in assisted living and care homes. it is also beneficial for anyone with limited mobility, recovering from surgery or living with chronic pain
Targeted Exercises tailored for each muscle group and joints that when combined, gives a full body workout.
By providing live (currently virtual) sessions, we not only address the physical benefits of exercise but also the social aspect by coming together as a community on a regular basis.
“The most interesting trait of the human body is that it is always changing, literally, it cannot stay the same. With this in mind, it is constantly adapting to what you put it through. If you exercise, muscles adapt by getting stronger. Research through NASM shows exercising 2-4 times per week for 30 minutes is very beneficial for seniors.” – KIME Performance

Once your doctor says it’s OK to begin easing back into exercise, you’ll still need to be careful and strategic about your workouts. If you’re recovering from surgery, illness, or another injury, seated exercises are a great way to get fitness levels back up. slow, gentle movements and stretches are a great way to keep your muscles engaged while you’re recovering
Great introductory session. I was really impressed at how much can be achieved whilst seated. The emphasis on breathing was a calming way of ensuring we remain focused. A number of really useful exercises which will not only benefit the elderly and less mobile but also those of us desk bound working from home.
I participated in one of the introductory classes. It really was a great session led by a great instructor. The pace was excellent and I can really see some of my older family members benefiting from the gentle movements and guided breathing techniques. Looking forward to the intermediate classes but in the meantime my creaky shoulder is feeling better today - thanks to the box moves in yesterday’s class!
I very much enjoyed my introductory session and greatly felt the benefit of all the exercises. They relax the body but are also calming on the mind. The instructor is excellent, clear and very kind.
I attended one of the introductory sessions. I certainly believe it does what it says on the tin. A great way to keep flexible and fit. But I especially liked the warm engaging personality of the instructor which definitely added to the experience.
The instructor has a gentle manner and knowingly guides us through perfect exercises and poses for a restful and relaxing hour in the chair.
