1. where should I begin?

the BEST way is to join a FREE introduction session where you can join in some exercises and ask questions

2. before you begin:

sit and stay fit recommends that you consult your physician regarding the applicability of any recommendations and follow all safety instructions before beginning any exercise program. When participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in this exercise or exercise program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself.

You should always get confirmation from your physician that you can partake in exercise. A good start are the low intensity classes which is ideal for beginners or those recovering from surgery. You can also check out the self care videos that you have access to once you become a member.

The sit and stay fit private facebook group is a free private space for the sit and stay fit community. It is a place to connect with others about fitness and living life the sit and stay fit way.

You are invited to join us! request an invite to join from your member area. We try to accept your request within a day. Sometimes the wait can be a little longer over weekends, holidays, or busy times.

1. booking a class

as a member of sit and stay fit, you can look at the class schedule in your member area. The class schedule is updated weekly so you can book your classes up to a week in advance.

2. buying additional classes

you can purchase a single class or a block of 6 classes. If you have used up your class credit(s) and wish to attend another sit and stay fit class, simply click book now on the class you want and you will be taken to the payment page where you can purchase a single class or 6 classes.

3. How do I see the number of remaining classes I have?

Your profile will automatically track the number of class credits you have (if you have purchased 6 classes). You will not be able to book any further classes once you have scheduled 6 classes. You just need to purchase additional classes if you wish to book future classes

4. booking a private class

all sit and stay fit private classes are requested through the online private class request form.

you can book a private class from your member area or if you have not registered to become a member, you can still request a private class and you will become a member as well.

All new members will need to sign a disclaimer before joining sit and stay fit

all private class requests are confirmed before payment is taken and for first time clients, there will be a 20 minute session to go through a health questionnaire and agree a workout plan prior to the private class.

5. updating your account information

To change your name, password or email address, log onto the website at www.sitandstayfit.com and click on settings in your member area

6. What if have forgotten my password

when you click sign in from the sit and stay fit website, click on forgot password and you will be emailed with a reminder of your password. you can choose to change it once you log back in

cancellation policy:

1. cancelling your group class

If you need to cancel a group session, please call us immediately!

All cancellations for a group class must be received at least 12 hours before your session in order to get a refund.

No shows or clients who do not cancel with 12 hours notice will not get a refund for the cancelled session.

You will receive a refund via paypal for group class cancellations

2. cancelling your private class

If you need to cancel a session, please call us immediately!

You will be given the option to reschedule the class for another time at no extra cost.

3. cancelling your membership

we hate to see you go, but we totally understand. we've made canceling your membership very easy. You simply click on cancel membership from your member dashboard. you will no longer have access to the member area.

you can still access the website. If you want to book a class, you will need to register again.

You will lose any class credits remaining so it is advisable to use up all the class credits before cancelling.

Videos cannot be downloaded to a computer but you can schedule to watch later or share the video

absolutely! just complete the feedback form and send in your suggestions. Copy and paste any links and we will review and add them if appropriate.

go to settings on your member dashboard and reset your password

2. How to join a zoom class

If you do not already have zoom downloaded to your laptop or table, go to zoom.us and click join meeting and enter the meeting ID that is provided to you. the meeting room will be open 5 minutes prior to the class.

troubleshooting:

1. slow loading time

if the website is taking too long to load or you cannot access your member dashboard or other pages, please contact us or send an email to info@sitandtayfit.com with the message header ‘slow loading time’

2.trouble logging in

if you cannot reset your password or cannot access your member area, please contact us or send an email to info@sitandtayfit.com with the message header ‘cannot log in’

3. video playback issues

if you cannot view the videos in the spotlight or self care video sections of your member area, please try logging out and back in again. If the issue persists, please contact us or send an email to info@sitandtayfit.com with the message header ‘cannot view videos’

4. why do I have to sign into the website every time

to not have to sign in every time you access sit and stay fit, tell your browser to keep the cookies from the website. Try checking your cookie permissions for the membership website. Also, cookie blockers can cause this log out each time too.

Tell the browser to remember you or save your login information so that you can click "Log In" the next time you visit and your email and password will already be filled in for you.

5. cannot access the class via Zoom

if you cannot access the zoom class, check you have the correct meeting ID. You need to go to zoom.us and click on join meeting. You may be prompted to download zoom but you do not need to download it to access the class. just ensure you have the meeting ID.

you may need to re-install zoom if you continue to have issues. Visit https://zoom.us/ and check their troubleshooting site.
