LAUNCH OF LIGHT MY ART™

Madeleine Depelteau-Brownrigg, EMBA, owner and founder of Lightmyart.com, which is finallylive after months of development. It is a small start-up that will make a big impact. This unique social platform was built because no matter how much you search the internet for art, it’s time-consuming, so we hope this site will answer this need.

We area private family-owned business. The current Light My Art™ organization consists of Thomas J. Brownrigg, Chief Operating Officer and co-owner; Serena L. Brownrigg, Director of Memberships and Client Relations; Erik P. Brownrigg, Director of Sales and Marketing, and other family members.

Now artists can connect locally or virtually to sell their art. Members have benefits, including getting free advertising.

As we are continuing to improve the site, you will see additional features and content added as the need is felt and feedback is received. Currently, Lightmyart.com offers the following benefits. You can join for $10 per month or $100 per year, then a profile will open for you. Artists can showcase their favorite art on a global scale without needing to maintain a website.

  • Art lovers and buyers can research art they like and connect directly with the artist.
  • Members who sign up can create their profile which they can modify as they wish.
  • Members can post up to five images of their art for sale.
  • The map image will be accessible to all lightmyart.com visitors.
  • Once a year, Light My Art™ commits to giving a share of its profit to United Way, Cancer, Diabetes and COPD Research.
  • We do not collect money from art sales through this platform, even if you sell NFTs, which are non-fungible tokens.
  • The booking tool helps people meet, hold or attend workshops.
  • Advertising worldwide will be continuous on social media.
  • The more diversified we are, the better it will be for the platform to grow and prosper.

Initiatives planned in 2021-22

The Lightmyart.com Advertising Campaign will run through 2021 and 2022 to build the site with newvisual artists from all categories, including photographers, painters, sculptors, illustrators, fabric and graphic artists. Share your art with your friends. We are looking for 5,000 visual artists and art lovers before we launch advertisements worldwide in 2022.

We will expand our site with a vendors’ page.
